Early Childhood Opportunities

As a world-class, accredited private school in Cambridge, MA, ISB is home to 540 students from age 2 through Grade 12. ISB places the development of the bilingual brain at the heart of our mission.

The Center for Families Newsletter is full of information, resources, and supports for Cambridge families with children birth-8 years old.

We offer a Chinese Immersion afterschool program for PK to 6th grade students and an Art & Talent Class for PK to 12th grade students in the Cambridgeport/ Central Square area near the MLK School.

We provide a list of all upcoming opportunities for children ages 0-11; regular activities include story times, arts, musical, and dance events and more in our Children's Room.

The Longfellow Summer Arts Festival brings music, poetry, and community to the East Lawn of the Longfellow House on Sunday afternoons through the summer. All events are free and open to the public.

For ages 4+! NSM offers group instrument lessons, choir ensembles, & private lessons on strings, guitar, woodwinds, piano, and voice.

The War Memorial Recreation Center provides residents access to a state of the art, fully accessible, and climate controlled facility for recreational activities.

The CW Youth Taekwondo program provides classes to children and youth, with a fun and challenging curriculum that emphasizes coordination, focus, self-confidence and respect year round.

MathTalk is seeking families with children 4-10 years old to pilot the "Math! Everywhere!" app this summer! Families will earn "MathBuck$," redeemable at local businesses.

A Music focused, emergent based curriculum and culturally immersive early education program. Professional live music classes everyday for every age group! Diapers, snacks and lunch are included!

Toddler progtam welcomes children starting 1 year and 3 months old.

We've created orienteering courses throughout the city of Cambridge to get you and your family outside and moving around. Check out our map courses on our website!

We offer a progression of map navigation activities for home-schooled students who want to learning individually or in a group.

Enjoy a selection of local, family-owned and operated food trucks every Tuesday through Thursday in the Kendall/MIT Open Space, with plenty of outdoor seating options available!

We offer STEM programs at various locations across New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts to children ages 4-13.

We visit moms and dads of young children at a convenient location to share information about early literacy development, talking and reading with children, and community resources.

We host a vibrant summer day camp for children ages 18 months to 11 years. This summer we’re excited to offer both traditional and specialized day-camps for different age groups.
