Summer Camps and Activities, Older Adult Services

This guide gives caregivers a quick and easy format to read through their summer camp options and reach out to staff for assistance.

We help people apply for and resolve problems with Social Security, SSI, SSDI, TAFDC, and EAEDC.

Our team of social workers can help make referrals to community services, help you complete applications, navigate resources, and help connect you to mental health or substance misuse programs.

We offer fun, informative, and friendly activities for older adults. You can exercise, play games, learn a new skill, speak a new language, and build new relationships! See our monthly calendar for more.

Cambridge Senior Center offering lunch Monday through Thursday.

We provide basic English classes to seniors at both of Cambridge Senior Centers (Citywide and North Cambridge).

We help older adults with housing, wellness support, financial education, public benefits applications, and referrals to additional community resources.

When people come in we can help them use their digital devices (smartphones, tablets, computers), apply for services online, learn digital literacy and safety/privacy tips.

We provide a weekly Zoom drop-in group for LGBTQIA+ older adults as well as a Virtual Visits group for transgender and gender diverse older adults. We also offer LGBTQIA+ and trans bereavement groups.

We offer case management and counseling services for Cambridge residents over the age of 60 and their caregivers.

We offer Taekwondo classes all year round, including the summer, in a fun and educational environment where children 4 and up use martial arts to build self-confidence, focus, and physical wellbeing.

We offer summer ballet classes and dance programs, primarily for children of all levels ages 3-10 years-old.

The Helpline is the only statewide, public resource for finding substance abuse treatment and recovery services.

We provide a list of all upcoming opportunities for children ages 0-11; regular activities include story times, arts, musical, and dance events and more in our Children's Room.

We extend access to technology like Chromebook laptops and mobile WiFi hotspots by allowing patrons to check out devices.

The War Memorial Recreation Center provides residents access to a state of the art, fully accessible, and climate controlled facility for recreational activities.

A Music focused, emergent based curriculum and culturally immersive early education program. Professional live music classes everyday for every age group! Diapers, snacks and lunch are included!

Council on Aging offers a wide range of social services and is committed to meeting the needs of seniors. We can connect people to services or even meet them where they live to help them connect.

On The Rise is a daytime, drop-in program for unhoused women, trans, and non-binary people providing the relationships, safety and resources they need to move out of homelessness.

We are a multilingual and multicultural preschool and kindergarten with afterschool and summer offerings in Central Square. We specialize on Early Global Education and Teachers growth.

Qualifying individuals can apply to receive affordable internet access and a new laptop.

We offer STEM programs at various locations across New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts to children ages 4-13.
