Martial arts for all ages, keep fit, stay active, and learn focus and concentration all at once! Taekwondo combines kicking, punching, & blocks into a workout for body & mind!

Registration required

Parents typically take a tour of the school and watch a class and then register either in person or online. Open daily at 12 noon until 7pm, Saturdays 10am to 4pm.

You can also email or call for the registration form. Admission is rolling, you can sign up any time. If spots fill, we will institute a waitlist.

Cost

Typically monthly cost is $179 for up to six classes a week. Seasonal discounts may apply! (i.e. back to school special September 1-30).

  • Transportation from school provided for some eligible students; check with your child's school.

Some Cambridge school bus lines (Rainbow, Yellow Moon, Red Fire Engine) drop off across the street from our location (Mass Ave & Beech Street) and some two blocks down (Mass Ave and Walden St: Red Rocket, Pink Flamingo, Red Heart). Please check with your child's school about whether they are eligible to take the bus and get permission to take a bus different from their usual route to this After School activity.

Dates and Times

This is an ongoing program.

Monday through Saturday.

Afternoon and Evening.

Classes are available up to 6 days per week at various times. Right now are schedule by age group is:

  • Ages 5-8 4pm to 5pm daily.
  • Ages 9-12 5pm to 6pm daily.
  • All Ages Saturday 10am - 11am
  • Ages 13 - Adults weekdays 6pm, 7pm and Saturdays 11am.

Additional information

This program includes: Taekwondo classes, self defense, physical fitness, cardio, flexibility, and strengthening mental focus.

Martial arts have been proven to help improve concentration, confidence, self-esteem, focus, as well as physical skills like balance, cardio health, and flexibility. Great for kids and adults with ADHD. A structured physical activity that is not competitive like a team sport, martial arts allows each student to build their own skills and improve at their own pace.
