We provide a platform for volunteers to recover excess food from businesses and transport it to local human service agencies.

Location

The program serves people at their homes or wherever it is needed or online.

  • In-person only.

Right now, volunteering can be done from one's own home. In some cases, volunteers that are willing to sometimes transfer food from the donor to the human service agencies in need.

Dates and Times

This is an ongoing program.

Every day.

Volunteers often help in a variety of ways and at many different times. Currently, we are asking for assistance from people that can call and email potential food donors, with some flexibility.

Additional information

RLC Massachusetts operates throughout the State and is committed to transporting healthy food to their agency partners who are serving their communities during the COVID-19 crisis. RLCMA seeks outreach volunteers during the pandemic to make calls and emails to potential food donors. Please email Dana@RescuingLeftoverCuisine.org to collaborate.
