Additional information

Give a senior or disabled person emotional strength to manage their health care appointments.  Be there to assuage concerns about seeing the doctor and help keep track of their medical issues.  You will be matched one-to-one with a participant in our community-based CONNECT program for people with behavioral health hurdles to improve their access to care.  This volunteer role requires 4-hour blocks of time during weekday business hours to attend medical appointments.

Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services requires staff and volunteers to be vaccinated against COVID-19, and to have received a booster.  Masks are required when seeing a client.
