Middle and High School Opportunities

The goal of our organization is to bring our love for the game of volleyball and its core values of teamwork, community, and sportsmanship to Cambridge youth focusing on Middle School Aged Players.

The Recreation Department provides quality, affordable and accessible recreational opportunities for residents of all ages in well-designed and maintained facilities.

OWD offers employment programs for both young people and adults to help them build skills, gain access to opportunities, and work towards the careers they seek.

Community Charter School of Cambridge (CCSC) is a small, diverse school serving students in grades 6-12 with a proven record of closing opportunity gaps for all students.

We provide afterschool care for children in Cambridge.

We facilitate learning opportunities that teach teamwork, develop self-confidence, increase discipline and promote hard work while enjoying the game of baseball.

Helping children between the ages of 7 and 12 (Littles) in under-resourced families thrive through one-to-one relationships with caring adult mentors (Bigs).

We provide free tutoring, mentoring and enrichment programs for Cambridge students in grades 4-12

The Foundry provides space and programs for the visual & performing arts, entrepreneurship, technology, & workforce education at the intersection of East Cambridge and Kendall Square.

We have programs for boys and girls (Cub Scout Pack for K-5 children and Scout Troop and Venture Crew for 6th grade through 20 years). Join us for weekly meetings and outdoor adventures.

We currently host programming for the Tent - a Jewish learning community for teens (8th-12th graders).

Outside of our college programs we offer community programs to prepare youth artists, designers, and educators to shape communities, economies, and cultures for the common good.

Beyond the 4th Wall offers musical theatre programs and training in acting, singing, and dancing for youth ages 4-18.

The Healthy Children Task Force (HCTF) is a community coalition of parents and professionals, formed in 1990, who meet monthly to promote the health of children in Cambridge.

CitySprouts introduces school gardens as a core element of children's public education.

CSV helps caring, competent adults serve students in the Cambridge Public Schools by volunteering.

We entertain and inform people about the uniquely American art of Jazz through exceptional live performances and to provide inspiration and scholarships for young musicians in Cambridge.

The MIT Educational Studies Program (ESP) hosts events for local middle/high school students and the MIT community.
