We are committed to working with the community to make the City of Cambridge a safe and desirable place to live, work or visit. We solve problems and improve public safety.

We work to prevent suicide and support those who have lost someone to suicide. Each year, 300+ volunteers answer more than 80,000 calls, texts, and chats on our Helpline.

We offer accessible programs for children, work experiences for teens, advocacy and resources for caregivers, and most importantly, community through afterschool, summer camps, and other activities.

CHRC investigates complaints of discrimination that occur in Cambridge; in housing, employment, education, and public accommodations.

Helping children between the ages of 7 and 12 (Littles) in under-resourced families thrive through one-to-one relationships with caring adult mentors (Bigs).

We have programs for boys and girls (Cub Scout Pack for K-5 children and Scout Troop and Venture Crew for 6th grade through 20 years). Join us for weekly meetings and outdoor adventures.

Big Sister Boston empowers women, girls, and nonbinary folks through a variety of gender-intentional programs and opportunities.

We are a non-profit network of locally owned and independent businesses formed in October 2005 to build a strong local economy and a vibrant community.
