Afterschool (Every Day), Family Activities

A home visiting programs' primary purpose is to support and encourage parents and caregivers, share information, and connect families with resources in their home and/or a convenient location.

Cambridge residents with children in grades K-8 apply to DHSP Afterschool Programs through this lottery application. The lottery opens in April for the coming school year.

We provide free and nutritionally balanced meals to Cambridge residents 18 years of age and under. There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian options offered at all meal sites!

The Center for Families Newsletter is full of information, resources, and supports for Cambridge families with children birth-8 years old.

Learn to play the Steel Pan, basic music, and leadership development.

We will offer open enrollment to elementary school students in after school (extended day and enrichment clubs) and vacation camps.

We provide language and interpretation classes, youth programs, multicultural community events, and other supports for immigrant families.

We are an academic and social enrichment afterschool program committed to quality and to supporting children as they continue on their path of personal growth and education.

We offer safe and fun programs for pre-teens, middle schoolers, and teens to connect with peers, build leadership skills, and participate in sports, arts, and activities in an inclusive environment.

We've created orienteering courses throughout the city of Cambridge to get you and your family outside and moving around. Check out our map courses on our website!

We provide summer reading book recommendations; activities for children, teens, and adults; live events; as well as prizes and giveaways throughout July and August.

The Robo Hub After School Program offers engaging and creative STEM projects, active play, and academic support as well as bus dropoff, classes, meals and extended day until 7 pm.

We partner with local businesses and organizations to sponsor free events in parks across the city.

We provide affordable and accessible afterschool programming, primarily with immigrant families.

Cambridge Dads was created to increase fatherhood engagement in programming. The program strives to ensure dads are engaged, informed, and feel supported in their role as parents.
