We run an overnight emergency shelter for young adults (ages 18-24) in Harvard Square, open between October 15th and April 15th.
Sign-up Information
Age: Young Adult.
We serve young adults between ages 18 and 24. We are open to all lived experiences and strive to create a non-judgmental, open, and affirming space for young people of all gender identities and sexual orientations.
In order to obtain a bed at our shelter you need to call in for yourself or on behalf of someone who needs a bed, and enter one of our two lotteries. The morning lottery (for a 30-night stay) is conducted between 8am and 8:45am (so you would call the shelter phone between these hours). In the evening, between 9pm and 9:30pm, call to enter the emergency bed (one night) lottery. To enter either lottery, call 617-864-0795 We do not give away beds at the door, and unfortunately do not have overflow space for individuals who do not have a randomly selected lottery number.
