This program runs during the school year.

Monday through Friday.

Program runs from August to June. Weekly requirement is 30 hours per week in August (training) and 15 hours per week during the school year.

Additional information

The Wellness Coach Project (WCP) is a new, AmeriCorps service and career pathway that recruits, trains, places, and supervises new, entry-level 'Wellness Coaches' with partner schools and community organizations to support youth facing challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and unhealthy habits.  Candidates complete 11-months of college-level training and field placements with these partners. They also receive a $14,000 living expense stipend, an Education Award/Scholarship and job placement support after the program.  Now recruiting candidates through June

Open to high school graduates (or equivalent), those in college and looking for a paid internship, or those who may have started college, stopped, and are now looking for a new path.
