Summer College Immersion Program

We offer a summer job program where youth prepare for college before entering 12th grade.
Sign-up Information
Ages: 16 to 18.
Grade 11th grade.
Cambridge public/subsidized housing residents only.
This program is open to youth who will be starting their senior year of high school after this summer. Youth must also be residing in Cambridge Housing Authority or Cambridge Section 8 housing.

Interested applicants must be highly motivated to participate in our intensive educational classes and willing to do outside homework, studying, and college essay writing assignments. The final date to apply may be extended if spots are still available.

- In-person only.
We provide transportation to and from the college visits only.

Monday through Thursday.
Morning and Afternoon.
- Mondays 11:00am - 3:30pm
- Tuesdays 11:00am - 3:00pm
- Wednesdays 11:00am - 4:15pm
- Thursdays 8:00am - 5:30pm
Additional information
SCIP is an academic, six-week paid summer work program designed to help rising high school seniors (current juniors) prepare successfully for college. Activities include SAT tutoring in small, individualized classes, personalized college essay writing workshops, and college visits and college exploratory activities. Participating youth must be living in Cambridge Housing Authority or Cambridge Section 8 housing.
