They are recommended to veterans and active U.S. military members and their families for these same purposes. The Mindfulness Coach is typically recommended for ages 12+. The Stay Quit Coach is typically recommended for ages 17+.

Stay Quit Coach 2.0 is designed to help anyone who would like to quit or reduce use of cigarettes, electronic nicotine delivery systems, cigars and chewing tobacco. Stay Quit Coach 2.0 helps users identify their personal reasons for quitting, set goals, and track their progress over time. It provides information about tobacco use and nicotine withdrawal. Interactive tools help users cope with urges and motivational messages help users stay tobacco-free. Mindfulness Coach was developed for people who may be experiencing emotional distress and for those wanting to maintain healthy coping practices. The app can be used on its own by those who would like mindfulness tools, or to enhance face-to-face care with a healthcare professional. Practicing mindfulness means grounding yourself in the present moment. Mindfulness has been shown to be helpful for reducing stress and coping with unpleasant thoughts and emotions.
