Join MIT Beaver Works has weekend and summer programs for high school students interested in robotics and programming!

Registration required

  • Specific dates
Wed, January 15 2025 – Wed, February 12 2025

No requirements, just an interest in the area. Complete the online registration form with short essays and we will notify. Fall registration starts September 1. Spring registration starts January 15.

Courses are either in-person on MIT's Campus or virtual (on Zoom).

Dates and Times

This is an ongoing program.

Monday through Friday.

  • Fall Session: October 12 - December 21
  • Spring Session: February 12- April 19
  • School Year Fall and Spring Sessions meet on Saturdays from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
  • Summer Sessions meets on weekdays from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Additional information

  • Learn to program in Python!
  • No prior experience necessary
  • Lunch provided on Saturday meetings
  • Free for all participants!

The summer program includes: Serious Game Development with AI, Medlytics, Build-a-CubeSat, Autonomous RACECAR Grand Prix, Autonomous Air Vehicle Racing, Autonomous Underwater Vehicles, Quantum Software, Embedded Security and Hardware Hacking, CogWorks, Remote Sensing for Disaster Response, UAS SAR, Cyber Security (i.e. coding, engineering, hands-on STEM activities)
