Our academic and co-curricular programs prepare artists, designers, and educators from diverse backgrounds to shape communities, economies, and cultures for the common good.
Sign-up Information
Ages: 12 to 15.
Grades 6th grade through 8th grade.
Eligibility is based on grade level, the program serves students entering Grades 7-9.

Creative Studios Registration Period ends on May 31st or whenever classes are full. View the full list of classes at https://massart.edu/node/3456
Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served and space available basis. Submission of a registration form does not guarantee enrollment in a class. If you submit a registration form and your preferred classes are full, you will be placed on the waiting list and notified as soon as possible if a space becomes available.
Cost
CLASS FEE (PER HALF DAY): $795
- Financial Aid and/or Scholarship Available
Scholarships are based on financial need and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to request a scholarship. To be considered, you will be asked to submit a copy of your most recent tax return (SSNs crossed or blanked out) with your registration form.

Dates and Times
This program runs during the summer.
Summer Programming runs July 29 - August 9, 2024. Classes held Monday through Friday:
- Morning Session runs 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
- Afternoon Session runs 1:00 PM- 4:00 PM.
Additional information
Creative Studios is for young artists entering grades 7-9 looking to expand their knowledge of the visual arts. Daily studio classes introduce techniques, skills and habits that are fundamental to successful work. For students of all abilities, Creative Studios classes span a range of disciplines and interests for younger artists.
In addition to our college programs, we offer some opportunities that are open to children and the general public including camps, events, and adult education.
