Location
The program serves people at their homes or wherever it is needed or online.
- In-person only.
- Transportation from school provided for some eligible students; check with your child's school.
We are still determining the exact locations where the program will take place, but it will happen at select Cambridge Public School buildings. Again, we are still working with schools to settle on locations so we will follow up once those are finalized. If the classes take place in a space other than the student's school, we are planning on arranging for buses.
Dates and Times
This program runs during the school year.
Our program runs Early October - Late April. We are still finalizing our exact hours to be determined/coordinated with schools on select weekdays. The program always runs 1 hour after school.
Additional information
CityStep Harvard brings arts enrichment to Cambridge Public Schools through dance! Teams of college-student facilitators meet weekly with forth through seventh graders to lead fun games, teach moves, and create dances. Through dance, we aim to cultivate each individual’s self-confidence and creativity while also having fun! The year culminates in an original performance about a theme relevant to the students’ lives and which they help create.
Our program includes dance, acting, improv, and movement activities.
