Girls on the Run Grades 3-8

We are a nonprofit programs support girls to be physically and emotionally healthy and strong. Girls on the Run will be hosting a team at Danehy Park this fall beginning the week of September 19th.
Sign-up Information
Ages: 8 to 13.
Grades 3rd grade through 8th grade.
Gender-specific.
Those who are 3rd grade to 5th grade students and who identify as girls are eligible.
Wheelchair accessible.

Cost
We have a sliding scale- as little as $10. We also offer a few scholarships to the families most in-need. We also have a few scholarships.

This program runs during the school year.
Tuesday and Thursday.
Afternoon and Evening.
This fall's programs generally run twice per week for 8-9 weeks starting in September. Some locations continue and have rolling registration.

Additional information
Girls on the Run is coming to Cambridge this spring and registration is open on a first come first serve basis. It's more than a running program - it's designed to support girls' physical and emotional health and growth. Girls grades 3 - 5 will have fun making connections and meeting new friends. Girls will get outside, set goals, and train for a 5K while learning intentional decision making, how to use their voice and become confident leaders. Activities include: social emotional learning, journal writing, goal setting, emotional regulation, walking and/or running
