A fun summer program for 7th and 8th graders to learn about ecology, genetics, chemistry, bioengineering, and more.

Ages: 12 to 14.
Grades 6th grade through 8th grade.
This program is for students who will be in 7th and 8th grade in September after the program ends.
Wheelchair accessible.
Registration required

Monday, February 24 – Friday, May 2
Our registration begins at 3PM on February 24th and will end on May 2nd or as soon as spots are filled. Families are accepted on a rolling basis. A signed parental consent form is required to complete registration. You will be required to upload the form to the online application.
Cost
A registration fee of $500. A $250 non-refundable reservation fee is required upon registration. You may opt to pay the full amount of $500 during initial registration.

Both sessions are typically 9 AM to 2:30 PM (*The program will end by 1:00 p.m. each Friday).

Additional information
Through hands-on activities, laboratory modules, and discussions with scientists, rising 7th —and 8th-grade middle school students will learn how methods from ecology, genetics, chemistry, and bioengineering are used to answer some of the most challenging questions in the life sciences today- and have an awful lot of fun doing it!
