This is a free-of-cost STEM summer day program aimed at students with low income and/or low exposure to STEM.

Sign-up Information

Ages: 11 to 15.

Eligibility is based on grade level, students must be rising 6th to 9th graders (entering those grades in September 2025). Families must be low-income or low previous exposure to STEM

Refreshments provided.

Free lunch and snacks will be provided every day.

This program is only available for students living in Massachusetts. Transportation is not provided by the program. Also, we would like to confirm that photo release forms have been filled out by the students included in the photos attached to this submission.

The program will take place somewhere on MIT Campus but the specific location will be decided at a later time.

Dates and Times

This program runs during the summer.

Monday through Friday.

Each week of camp is hosted for a different age group. Camp runs from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Rising 6th & 7th Grades: August 11th-15th
Rising 8th & 9th Grades: August 18th-22th

Additional information

Every day is a different theme! We explore chemistry, biology, physics, computer science, and math with hands-on activities!
