Caregiver Advocate Program (CAP) is a community resource by and for caregivers of color to support each other in the Cambridge Public Schools through anti racist advocacy training and skill building.
Sign-up Information
Age: Adult.
Caregivers of Color are invited to participate in the CAP program and to receive advocacy trainings.

Caregivers of color will be paid a $250 stipend for becoming a caregiver of color advocate.

Dates and Times
Advocacy training will occur on May 15 & 16 and May 22 & 23 from 10-12pm.
Additional information
Through CFCC's Caregiver Advocate Program, caregivers of color across the district will be able to rely on Caregiver Advocates to attend meetings alongside them with direct family advocacy training and experience. With this support, families of color will be able to shift systems of communication, resource sharing, and power dynamics within CPS to benefit their students. This program is a community asset that represents the strength, expertise, and collaboration within our community and encourages all family members to become advocates for their family's needs.
