The online application is hosted by Harvard’s Office of Work/Life. You can access the application through any one of the centers’ websites. You should apply as soon as you know you are going to come to Harvard and know you will need care. Because the CCC centers are highly valued, there is typically a waiting list to enroll. The sooner you apply, the better the chances of being offered a spot.
Cost
Tuition differs for each program, age group, and schedule. See the cost for each program in the charts listed next to them one the Campus Child Care Inc. Centers Page.
- Financial Aid and/or Scholarship Available
Application fees are not refunded. You will be offered the option to remain on our waiting list from one year to the next at no extra charge. Some of the child care centers are able to make a limited amount of internally generated financial aid available each year. Consult individual centers for more information.
Benefits-eligible faculty, staff and postdocs may be eligible for one of several child care scholarship programs. Please go here for more information. There is currently no child care funding available for Harvard students.

Additional information
Botanic Gardens Children’s Center is an inclusive community which values uniqueness among our children and diversity in families and staff members. Our families come from all over the world, enriching our classrooms and our community. It’s not uncommon to hear four or five languages spoken in the same classroom. Recent BGCC families have come from China, Israel, India, Germany, Greece, Italy, Korea, Spain and other parts of the world. Each individual member of our community enriches the whole.
Oxford Street Daycare Cooperative firmly believes that childcare should be an extension of children’s home lives. The participation of parents in the classroom helps to bridge the emotional gap between school and home, as well as provide creative opportunities for parents to enjoy their children and meet their children’s friends. For the cooperative to work effectively, it is imperative that parents and staff keep themselves informed and participate fully in the daily life of the center.
Peabody Terrace Children's Center is inspired by the Reggio Emilia early childhood education philosophy which honors the child as protagonist, teacher as researcher, and parents as the first teacher. Together, we are a strong, dedicated community. We are proud of the partnerships we have with families and we are always grateful for what each child teaches us through their learning. Peabody Terrace Children’s Center is committed to providing high quality individualized child care to an internationally diverse group.
Harvard Yard Child Care Center takes a developmental approach to our work with children. We pull from the teachings of experts that children make new skills and concepts their own through play. We work in partnership with parents to build a community with children as our primary focus. Our goal is a warm, safe and stimulating environment in which children, parents and our professional staff may grow. We believe in developing strong individual relationships, while stressing communal respect for all children and their families.
Radcliffe Child Care Center offers a stimulating educational program in a warm, nurturing setting. Each day, children explore materials on their own, participate in small group projects, join together in the whole group for stories, songs, discussions and play outdoors. Children are encouraged to grow in independence, curiosity and initiative, at the same time that they learn to cooperate, respect others and to form relationships based on trust, fairness and sensitivity to the feelings of others. Teaching is individualized to respond to each child’s readiness to develop talents and abilities.
Soldiers Field Park Children’s Center’s mission is to create an enriching, educational environment where every child in our care will learn, thrive and grow. Our philosophy is based on individualism at all levels – each child, parent, teacher and member of our community is a valued contributor to the success of the program. We strive to instill respect and appreciation for individual differences, and celebrate diversity. Our classrooms’ curricula are tailored to meet the skills, interests and needs of individual children and the group, while allowing teachers to use their own individual approaches and creative abilities. We instill a love and excitement for learning by exposing children to a variety of experiences and activities appropriate to their individual needs and each developmental stage.
