We offer soccer programs for children ages 4 - 8th Grade during Fall and Spring seasons. Everyone plays! Beginners and experienced players welcome!
Sign-up Information
- Kick Start (4-5 years)
- Premier League (1st & 2nd graders)
- Champions League (3rd & 4th graders)
- City League (5th & 6th graders)
- City League (7th & 8th graders)
Ages: 4 to 14.
Grades Junior Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Cambridge residents only.
Everyone is welcome and everyone plays, open to all genders and identities. Children from age 4 - 8th grade are eligible for one of the following:
Participants must live or attend school in Cambridge.
Registration required
- Sign-up is ongoing
On our website, go to "Registration Information" then "Available Programs. Choose a program, then register. If you wish financial aid, do not pay. Instead fill out the brief form under "Registration Information" then "Financial Aid." No deadlines, but teams often fill up by early September for fall and early April for spring. Ideally parents should sign up their children before the first week of the upcoming season.
Cost
$115 per season, includes a jersey. Some scholarships are available.

The locations of practices and games vary across field around Cambridge. Games: Ages 4 & 5 in East Cambridge, Grades 1 & 2 at Russell & Ahern Fields, Grades 3-8 mostly at Danehy Park.
Dates and Times
This program runs during the school year.
Fall Session runs September 14th to November 9th. Spring Session runs April to mid-June. Different ages groups and teams schedules vary.

- Kick Start (4-5 years: Saturday or Sunday game)
- Premier League (1st & 2nd grades: Saturday practice/game)
- Champions League (3rd & 4th grades: one practice & Saturday game)
- City League (5th & 6th grades: one practice & Saturday game)
- City League (7th & 8th grades: one practice & Saturday game)
Additional information
Cambridge Youth Soccer is an independent charitable organization which exists to provide a healthy team sports experience for Cambridge children and youth. Currently CYS provides programs for ages 4-14 with an in-town league and travel teams in the NECSL League. Cambridge Youth Soccer is affiliated with the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (MYSA).
