We offer a fun summer vacation program with a wide range of activities and field trips based out of our Cambridge YMCA location!
Sign-up Information
Ages: 5 to 12.
Eligibility is based on age - participants must be 5 years-old by April 1, 2024 and have completed one year of Kindergarten (and will be going into 1st grade in the fall).
Registration required

You must make an account to register. Register ASAP by visiting our Summer Program webpage, clicking "sign up" and selecting, "youth program participant". There is no deadline but interested families should signup before March. Everyone will initially be placed on a waitlist. Please contact us/send us an email if you need help registering.
You can register for any number of our 8 summer sessions. We will accept families into the program according to where they are on the waitlist for each session. We will know better in April how many slots are left and if children on the waitlist have a chance of getting into the program.
Cost
- $300/week* (week of 7/1/24 will be prorated due to 7/4 closure).
- A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to enroll, the deposit counts towards your first payment.
- Financial Aid and/or Scholarship Available

Dates and Times
This program runs during the summer.
Monday through Friday.
Runs July 1 - August 23. You can sign up for all 8 weeks or selectively for individual weeks. Camp runs every weekday from 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM. *The program will be closed for the July 4th holiday.

The Cambridge YMCA’s Summer Program provides structured, fun-filled activities and outings to local parks, as well as weekly field trips to museums, movies, beaches, and other exciting locations in the Boston/Cambridge area.*
Our teachers are from diverse specializations and backgrounds and are able to create a wide variety of activities from which your child can choose.
Our children have access to a wide range of enrichment and educational activities including arts and crafts, dance, science club, and gym activities. Some of these activities are offered every day, giving your child the chance to repeat favorite activities or explore something new.
All of our activities are designed with our four core character values in mind: Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility.
