Inside the Bioengineering Laboratory space students will work in as part of the BioSTAR program.

Our summer program introduces talented and self-motivated high school students to bioengineering using experimentation, research, and connecting with Harvard researchers in our state-of-the-art lab.

While the program is free of charge, students will need to provide their own transportation to and from the Science and Engineering Complex, located in Allston. 

Dates and Times

This is an ongoing program.

Monday through Friday.

This programs runs for one week every July.

Additional information

Students will learn bioengineering principles and techniques in a state-of-the-art research lab at the engineering campus in Allston. In addition to designing and performing research experiments, students will engage with Harvard faculty and researchers to gain an in-depth understanding of how bioengineering has an impact on human health.
