Hours of operation
- This organization does not have specific hours. You can contact them at any time.
Additional information
We are entirely student-run, and our space is gender neutral and welcoming to all identities. We offer case management services (applying for IDs, completing housing apps, etc.), legal services, medical services, and a variety of other workshops. Stays at Y2Y are either 1-night or 30-night (6 weeks in the summer), and beds are given away via phone lottery.
Contacts
In order to obtain a bed at our shelter you need to call in for yourself or on behalf of someone who needs a bed, and enter one of our two lotteries.
- The morning lottery (for a 30-night stay) is conducted between 8am and 8:45am (so you would call the shelter phone between these hours).
- In the evening, between 9pm and 9:30pm, call to enter the emergency bed (one night) lottery.
- To enter either lottery, call 617-864-0795
We do not give away beds at the door, and unfortunately do not have overflow space for individuals who do not have a randomly selected lottery number.
