The parking lots at 250 Fresh Pond Parkway are posted Cambridge Resident Parking Permit Only. Temporary parking passes can be issued from the Water Dept. front desk for visitors doing business with the CWD or visitors invited to participate in public events. This location is accessible by foot from Alewife Station (end of the Red Line), parts of the property is serviced by MBTA buses 72, 74, 75, & 78, and there is a BlueBikes station in front of the building on the bike path.

Since the mid-1800s, the Cambridge Water Department (CWD) has provided a safe, adequate, and uninterrupted supply of the highest quality water to Cambridge residents, businesses, and universities. Fresh Pond Reservoir is the active raw water supply and all of Cambridge's tap water is filtered and treated on-site at 250 Fresh Pond Parkway.
