Additional information
The Cambridge Families of Color Coalition (CFCC) is a collective of Families of Color working to nurture, empower, celebrate, and uplift each other and our students. Our work is rooted in racial, social, and economic equity that centers Black and Brown Families most historically marginalized by the Cambridge Public School District (CPSD). The CFCC values the centering of Black and Brown Families with the understanding that when we build for the margins, all Families of Color benefit. Families of Color historically marginalized by CPSD include families with special education needs, Immigrant families, linguistically diverse families, under-resourced families, families experiencing homelessness, among others in crisis situations or with more and different needs. Our goal is to create and assist our community; in becoming a place where all Students and Families of color thrive academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and in spirit.
