Cambridge Children's Chorus, a division of Boston City Singers

Cambridge Children's Chorus was founded in 2012 by Wendy Silverberg, Director of Early Childhood Education and Cambridge resident and Jane Money, Founding Artistic Director at the urging of neighborhood families. Each child is supported by seasoned artistic and administrative staff with the assistance of Cambridge-based teen mentors and graduate student teaching fellows from local conservatories.develop progressive mastery of skills with children from backgrounds different than their own, engaging hearts and minds during the critical after-school hours. Emphasis is placed on personal discipline, teamwork and group cooperation. Through ongoing mentor relationships, singers are connected to a strong and supportive community. Tuition based programs are held online until it is safe to resume in person instruction in Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, North Cambridge.  Financial assistance is available based on need.

VIRTUAL PROGRAMS

- Kodaly Singing Class (preK - Kindergarten) - Mondays from 4:00 - 4:30 pm ($300/year)

- Melody Makers (grades 1 - 2) - Thursdays from 5:15 - 5:45 pm ($325/year)

-Training Chorus (grades 3 - 5) - Thursdays from 4:30 - 5:15 pm ($400/year)

-Cantare (grades 6 - 9) - Tuesdays between the hours off 4:30 - 7:30 ($700/year)

TUITION

Tuition prices reflect reduced, online rehearsal time. Once in-person rehearsals restart, tuition will revert to pre-COVID-19 rates.
