In this virtual tour, Adam Sella ’22 explores the color blue in three works of art: Utagawa Hiroshige’s print Yamato Province: Yoshino, a Thousand Cherry Trees at One Glance, Pablo Picasso’s Mother and Child from the artist’s Blue Period, and Josef Albers’s painting Homage to the Square: Against Deep Blue.
