On this tour, Varya Lyapneva ’26 will explore space, mapping, and dislocation in three works of art that visualize fantasy worlds. They are Nancy Graves’s lithograph Montes Apenninus Region of the Moon (1972), Charles Sheeler’s painting Upper Deck (1929), and Albert Bierstadt’s painting Rocky Mountains, “Lander’s Peak” (1863).
