Additional information
On this tour, Milen Negasi ’25 will explore the critical role that materials can play in communicating an artist’s experiences. As a student of neuroscience, Negasi has focused her research on memory and the way experiences shape the self. She will bring similar concerns to her consideration of a few works, including Joan Snyder’s painting Summer Orange (1970) and the marble sculpture Nature Study (1986) by Louise Bourgeois.
