We are a fun and safe space for upper school age youth to hang out, eat, and engage once a month, typically on the last Friday of each month.
Sign-up Information
Ages: 11 to 17.
Grades 6th grade through 10th grade.
This even is open to all youth in grades 6th-8th that attend a school in Cambridge. Over the summer, that includes rising 6th-9th graders! This includes all Upper School scholars, as well as Charter School students.
Refreshments provided and Wheelchair accessible.
The event location changes throughout the year, so please ask if you have questions about the accessibility.

To enroll, please use our registration link found in the Friday Night Hype newsletters and social media platforms to sign your scholar(s) up for our programing. Included in the form is general information about your scholar (including the middle school they attend, their grade, etc.), emergency contact information, their workshop preferences, and questions for media release consent. Please complete a permission slip from our website before registering/attending.
Registration typically opens at the beginning of each month. Registration ends on the Wednesday prior to our monthly Friday event.

Friday Night Hype is a one time a month program, that typically takes place the last Friday of each month. Friday Night Hype was created to be a fun and safe space for upper school age youth, to hang out, participate in new and engaging activities, eat a warm meal, and have a chance to win a cool raffle prize. As a mentor program within Equity Roadmap, FNH is a pilot program created by educators and community leaders to connect scholars to fun, structured activities, opportunities and new positive relationships one Friday Night a month.
Regular activities include: sports, entrepreneurship/financial literacy, social-justice activism, STEM exploration, and conflict prevention
