The Boston Society for Architecture (BSA) announces the return of the 13th annual BSA Gingerbread Design Competition & Exhibition! This year's theme is Boston Neighborhoods: Holiday in the Hub.

Cost

Registration and participation is free although donations to the BSA Foundation are encouraged.

Gingerbread submissions are made at home/office and brought to BSA Space on 11/22 between 8am-6pm.

The exhibition and celebration will be hosted in the BSA Space at 290 Congress Street in Boston.

We will also be hosting a an exhibition from 11/27-December 11 and a celebration on December 11 in the BSA Space at 290 Congress Street in Boston that are open to the public.

Our theme invites participants to showcase their appreciation and connection to Boston's 24 vibrant neighborhoods, plus those cities and towns from Amesbury to Nantucket and out to Worcester. Consider more than just the biggest icons, we want to see what you love most about living and working in this region!

The BSA Gingerbread Design Competition & Exhibition is an annual fundraiser for the BSA Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) organization that supports Boston-area residents through projects focused on sustainability and equity in the built environment.

Designers of all ages and backgrounds are invited to participate in the festivities and challenge their own ideas of architecture through the construction of their very own Gingerbread structure. Each submission will be a part of an exhibition on display to the general public in the Atlantic Wharf lobby at 290 Congress Street as well as online, and on the BSA’s social media platforms from late November to mid-December.
